“Your heart is colder than the winter of ’81″. It’s lines like that, sung in such a manner as that of Philco Fiction‘s Turid Solberg, where it’s impossible not to fall fleetingly in love with a song. Perhaps akin to a less ansgt-ridden Frida Hyvönen, ‘Finally’ portrays the failing of a relationship contrasted against the cold, harsh Nordic winters yet still comes off sounding warm, inviting and very organic.
Philco Fiction release their second full-length Take It Personal via Brilliance Records on October 14.
